Brake Parts Australia is a privately owned Queensland company which started in 1977 as Queensland Power Brakes Pty Ltd.

The company has seen numerous changes over the years with ventures into franchising, manufacturing and national warehousing. In 1991 the name changed from Queensland Power Brakes to Brake Parts Australia as the company branched out of Queensland with the opening of a warehouse in Sydney New South Wales, which was soon followed by additional expansion.

BPA sold their national warehouses in 1994, manufacturing plant in 1999, and the franchises "ABS Auto Brake Service" in 2001. This enabled BPA to place 100% focus on our core business of wholesaling to resellers and brake specialists throughout Australia from a single national distribution centre, based in Brisbane.

Brake Parts Australia today is one of this country's leading brake importer and wholesalers. BPA service both the passenger and commercial vehicle markets through out Australia, New Zealand, PNG and many others in the South Pacific region for over the past 30 years now. BPA has a network of major distributors throughout every state in Australia including the surrounding pacific countries.

Brake Parts Australia are direct distributors of Girling, PBR, Exedy, O.E.Spares, Zircon, Reliance Spare Parts and many more well known and trusted brands. BPA also distribute products such as Westinghouse Air Brake, Clayton Dewandre, Wabco, Sealco, Williams, JKC, Midland and Anchorlok.
